Planning a 3 days itinerary in Agadir? You’re in for a treat. As someone who knows Morocco inside and out, I can tell you Agadir has a lot more to offer than just sunny beaches. From mountain oases and sand dunes to wildlife parks and rich Amazigh culture, this city and its surroundings are full of surprises.

Here’s what I recommend for an epic 3-day adventure in Agadir.

3 Days Itinerary in Agadir

Day 1: City Vibes and Local Culture

Start your trip with a chill morning by the beach. Agadir’s coastline is long, wide, and clean – perfect for a walk or a quick dip. Grab a coffee on the seafront promenade, enjoy the views, and take it slow.

Head up to the Agadir Oufella Kasbah. The view from up there is amazing – you’ll see the beach, marina, and city all in one shot. It’s the perfect intro to Agadir.

Swing by a local spot for a classic tagine or grilled fish. Trust me, fresh seafood in Agadir hits different.

Time to get lost in Souk El Had, one of the biggest markets in Morocco. From spices and olives to rugs and handcrafted goods, it’s all here. Don’t forget to haggle – it’s part of the fun.

Wrap up your day with dinner at the Marina. It’s a more modern part of town, but still cozy, and you’ll find plenty of restaurants with good views of the harbor.

Day 2: Nature, Adventure, and Sand Dunes

Take a day trip to Paradise Valley, about an hour from Agadir. It’s a lush oasis tucked between the mountains, with natural pools you can swim in. Hike around, explore the rocks, or just relax with a juice from one of the small cafés nearby.

On your way back, head to the Timlalin dunes near Tamri. This is where the sand dunes meet the ocean – super photogenic and peaceful. It’s one of those places that feels like a secret, even though it’s not far from town. You can also try sandboarding or just enjoy the view during golden hour.

Book a camel ride at sunset on the beach. It’s touristy, yeah, but also kind of magical. You’ll get some awesome photos and a totally different perspective of Agadir’s coastline.

Day 3: Wildlife, Heritage & Chill

Start your morning with a visit to Souss Massa National Park, about 45 minutes south of the city. It’s home to rare birds like the bald ibis, along with gazelles, flamingos, and more. You can take a guided tour if you’re into wildlife or just explore at your own pace.

There are small villages near the park where you can stop for a traditional lunch. It’s simple, homemade food – and so worth it.

Back in town, check out the Amazigh Heritage Museum to learn more about the culture of the local Berber (Amazigh) people. If you’re into handmade jewelry, rugs, or symbols, you’ll love this.

Then swing by an argan oil cooperative to see how the famous oil is made the traditional way – and pick up a few goodies for home.

End your trip with a relaxing session at a traditional hammam. Get scrubbed down, massaged, and come out glowing. It’s the best way to wrap up your 3 days itinerary in Agadir.
